Primavera Terminology

  • Actual Cost: Actual amount is the real amount paid to labor or paid for materials.
  • Budgeted Cost: It is the amount planned before and placed aside to run an entire project from start to finish.
  • Committed Cost: It is the cost which has not yet paid but an agreement has made for a  contract.
  • Estimated Cost: It is an estimation such as historical methods or empirical methods to get approximate cost.
  • Incurred Cost: It is an expense incurred from project activities.
  • Planned Cost: It is an approved estimated cost for a particular project that has to be used.
  • Cost Breakdown Structure : Const Breakdown Structure will deconstruct a project into various cost elements such as materials, discipline and area.
  • Change Estimate: The Change Estimate will focusses on cost, Schedule and Resource Changes.
